As a care leaver, my educational journey has been shaped by the unique challenges and struggles that come with living under social care.

Growing up in the care system, I faced numerous obstacles that impacted my educational status, from frequent changes in living arrangements and schools to the emotional and psychological effects of instability and uncertainty.

Despite these challenges, I have developed a deep understanding and empathy for young people who share similar experiences. My personal journey has instilled in me a strong resilience and determination to overcome adversity, which has been instrumental in achieving my educational goals. I have learned to navigate the complexities of the education system, advocate for my needs, and seek out resources and support that have enabled me to succeed.

I understand firsthand the critical need for stable, consistent, and compassionate guidance to help them reach their full potential.
